This is a picture of the Scare propane Cannon that we're borrowing from the Fish and Wildlife- It sends out an extremely loud blast every minute to scare away birds that are eating the seeds that we plant. But here's a real life problem... if we set this cannon out in the field it is likely that someone will steal it. Our biggest wildlife problems are at farms that are not close to houses. What to do- what to do?
On a positive note- the potatoes are looking great and we imagine we can start harvesting them soon and will start including them in the shares soon.
Last week I mentioned that dry weather is better than wet weather and that's still the case- but there are some crops that we don't typically irrigation as we anticipate some moisture. I'm hoping that we receive some rain Sunday.
