What a week. We are experiencing quite a bit of crop damage from this past weeks flood, but we're so thankful that we are all safe and our home is safe. The guys house did flood and cause damage- but nothing severe. Many families, buisnesses, and communities were pretty well destroyed. Many of you might recall the 100 year flood that we experienced in 2021. Many of the communities that were impacted by the flood in 2021 also experienced this past week's flood. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Also- A good friend of mine- Brent Cornett- from Cornett Farm Fresh has lost a very large percentage of his crops. They raise many more acres of crops than I do and experienced more severe flooding.
Rest assured that we are following the most strict food safety guidelines for crops that were flooded and we're having a specialist come to the farm to help provide further guidance.
We do plan to be able to continue to provide you with terrific crops- however- the mix might change just a little bit for a few weeks until we recover from the flood.
