We made it through the cold front last week without any frost damage on our squash and cucumbers thankfully. Just as I suspected, we got some squash and cucumbers planted last week with the forecast calling for 41 degrees, checked it this morning and it is now calling for 34 degrees! Good news is we are prepared for it and have covers that will be put over the plants to protect them in the event we do get1 read more »

We are ready to get some spring/summer crops planted on this fresh plastic mulch, even though I do think we could see a frost in early April! Strawberries are coming in great at the moment, we picked about 25 flats over the weekend. The other thing I noticed over the weekend was our blueberry bushes are starting to bloom and they seem thicker than ever, so hopefully we will have a great season.
