This plot of kale is doing great and honestly one of the best looking Tuscan crops I have grown in a while, bumper crop to say the least. We have some cold weather coming finally, not sure how low it will get but I am actually excited about it, tired of sweating, haha. We should start seeing some b1 read more »

Well we finally have another cool front coming through towards the end of the week, should be some nice weather for growing and being outdoors. We certainly don't want another snow storm like the picture I posted from 2020, talk about crazy, but a lil cooler, drier air will be much appreciated. We1 read more »

Despite the warmer weather, we have brussels coming along nicely and I am thinking we may start harvesting some this week! I have been patiently waiting on satsumas to start coming in season but they are taking there sweet time this year! Did you know that the sugar content is actually tested on satsuma's and they can't be sold until it reaches a certain level? Not sure when this rule or law came into play but that is1 read more »

It won't be long and our strawberry plants will be in arriving and we will be getting them in the ground. With that said we will be working on getting sprinklers ready and in place as we have to use overhead irrigation for our strawberry plants, this keeps them nice and cool so they don't burn up w1 read more »

Pumpkins are looking great and should be ready to harvest pretty soon, its kind of hard to tell just when to harvest these but we usually wait for the foliage to die back a bit and then we will go in and harvest the bigger pumpkins with good color. After we harvest they will have a curing period wh1 read more »
