How’d it get to be November? Coulda sworn that yesterday was mid September. Sure felt like it too, with the afternoons in the mid 60s I found myself in shorts and a t shirt by the afternoon. This week the crew pulled tomato and pepper plants from the fields and greenhouses, getting ready to prep the beds for winter. Harvest has slowed down a bit, making some time for brush work around the farm and processing needs in the lower barn. Market hours changed to 2-5pm this week. Be sure to s1 read more »

This week we had a small crew with lots to do. All our garlic processing since early July has come full circle to putting cloves back in the ground. Seasons are changing here on the farm. Mornings are getting colder, and brassicas are coming in full swing. We ramping up greenhouse work in preparation for the winter.
