Farm Happenings for June 17, 2020

 

Despite the wild swings in weather conditions and delays caused by the pandemic, we are almost ready for Summer. I finally received the Sweet Potato slips and they are in the ground, the Winter Squash is transplanted, and Brussels Sprouts  go in this week, and the Ginger goes in as soon as the overnights get a little warmer!

 

We are getting a few Cucumbers, some Strawberries, Sun Gold Cherry Tomatoes are ripening, and full sized Tomatoes should arrive around July 4.

 

This week I am at  the Family Fare parking lot in Eaton Rapids on Wednesday at 12:00 noon, and the Allen Street Farmers Market after that. Thursday afternoon is farm pick up, and Saturday we are at the Market on the Grand in Grand Ledge from 9:00-1:00 pm. I will add my over inventory to my online Farm Stand. for extra purchases.I hope to see you soon!
