Mother Nature is giving us that little extra grace period so we can wrap things up for winter production, and I can take a couple of weeks to recover from outpatient surgery on December 14. I already have the four books ordered as I intend to read a lot!
Winter Deliveries begin the week of January 7, 2024 and run through March 30 before the early Spring crops begin to mature. Our CSA Auto-Renew begins Wednesday, January 3. If you signed up recently and want to continue into the Winter, you may renew online or contact me for assistance. The auto-renew feature only applies to Members who were with us during the whole Fall Session.
Fond memories: past Hillcrest "Farmers", Jessie and Lauren, will Graduate from MSU in two weeks, and Alanna will exit Spring Arbor University this late Spring. As they move on, we are assisted this year by other very talented people!
This week I am at the Family Fare parking lot in Eaton Rapids on Wednesday at 12:00 noon, and the Allen Street Farmers Market after that, 3:00-6:00. Thursday afternoon is farm pick up and scheduled home deliveries. Saturday I am at the parking lot behind Flour Child Bakery of our Grand Ledge Deliveries 11:00 AM-12:00 noon.
