Someone once told me that the only thing that will never change, is change! This is especially true if you live in Michigan, and then are a Farmer in Michigan, and even more so if you train MSU interns to the organic way of growing great food in the midwest
Our latest intern, Analysis, left for school as of last Friday. Eva, our crew chief, can now return to the normal farming transition from Summer to Autumn and eventually Winter, and I can resume crop planning and seed orders to that end. I also want a possible transition from our online inventory manager Harvie, to another possible platform. The summer CSA session ends September 28, and I want some time to evaluate our options! Meanwhile, garlic seed orders are due, seed orders are nearly due, and Winter supplies are in this week. Yikes!
This week I am at the Family Fare parking lot in Eaton Rapids on Wednesday at 12:00 noon, and the Allen Street Farmers Market after that, 3-6:00. Thursday afternoon is farm pick up, and Saturday we are in Grand Ledge for the Farmers Market on River Street, 9:00 AM-1:00 PM. Scheduled home deliveries are early Saturday afternoon. Please see the attached menu for this week and let me know if I can help! Thank you,
