A quick farm happening for this evening as we're exhausted from a very windy day. It's also the night before our markets start tomorrow, so we've spent some time today getting ready. The warm temperatures from this past week are making it feel very spring-like, and crops in the field have been responding with lots of growth. On the harvest front, there's a few new crops coming this week and next, including bok choy, lacinato kale, baby hakurei turnips, and red butter lettuce.
Next week, we're working on making lots more beds and finishing the onion planting, the first leeks, and the second planting of scallions. The first planting of tomatoes will go into the hoophouse this weekend, too. We're dreaming of those first caprese salads...
