We are sourcing local organically-grown persimmons this year from Threefold Farm in Mechanicsburg! If you swap them into your box this week, you'll receive about 1 pound of delicious persimmon fruit, which will be either American Persimmon or Asian Persimmon. Both types will need to soften on a countertop for a couple of days before eating. It is important that these fruits are allowed to ripen prior to consumption as if they are still hard, they can be very astringent. Once ripened, however, they will be very sweet!
