Thrill your taste buds with Purple and Orange Carrots!
Do your carrots taste bitter, sometimes?
Problem solved...
Carrots should be stored away from fruits such as apples & pears, which release the ethylene gas that cause carrots to become bitter.
Swiss chard (also known simply as chard) is a leafy green vegetable that is related to spinach.
It is rich in vitamins A, C and especially K, and it is also a good source of magnesium, iron and potassium.
Chard can be steamed or sautéed, and it’s great in soups, stews, casseroles, frittatas and quiches. Young leaves can be eaten raw in salads.
Eat the rainbow this season.
Teamwork makes the dream work!
Father and son tandem working to keep our soil healthy.
Farmer John is out mowing the mustard seed while Farmer Phil is in the background working it into the soil. Incorporating the mustard plants in to the soil acts as a natural bio-fumigant and helps to add organic matter.
Lots of hard work goes into preparing our Weekly boxes for you to enjoy!

"Our brown eggs, chicken packages, and Thanksgiving turkeys have been a hit with C.S.A. farm share members and we love the feedback they provide. We are blessed to work with the Riehm family. We recommend them and their C.S.A. Market Box to everyone we know, and look forward to a partnership for years to come."
