New Product!! Frozen Sweet Corn
This past summer we had a Mary Frank's (CSA Member) who rents a certified kitchen freeze up packages of sweet corn on the cob for our winter CSA members. We are excited to start offering this to you!
Please remember to do a web search on how to cook so that you are not trying to eat a soggy ear of corn.
1. My search lead us to keeping the corn in the bag. Boiling water on the stove and placing the unopened bag in the water until it boiled again for 2-3 minutes.
2. Another method said to use milk and water with butter, salt and pepper. Boil and then add the corn directly into the pan of ingredients without the bag.
We all know that Christmas is just around the corner!
Due to the way the holidays fall this year, there will be a THREE (3) week break until your next delivery.
Be sure to STOCK YOUR FREEZER AND FRIDGE WITH THIS BOX!
