Who got hail on Saturday? We definitely did, though I didn't see it in action - I'll go by the fact that the easel with a rotted back that I've been meaning to repair for the past year had been reduced to just a frame on Sunday morning.
We got lucky, though - we might lose a week of strawberry harvest, but the timing of the storm with when we got our irrigation in place means we didn't have 6 weeks of greens successions in the field to get damaged. The first succession of tomatoes and peppers took a beating, but they have plenty of time to bounce back. I never thought I'd be grateful for the delays we've faced getting up and running, but we could have lost $10,000 in greens with this single storm if I'd gotten irrigation done when it was originally scheduled in February.
