Happy Solstice!
I'm back in Atlanta, and once again wrestling with reality - finding a ladder or scaffold that can reach to the top of the greenhouse to install the tracks for the plastic, figuring out why the germination on our last batch of seeds was so bad, finding wholesale buyers for produce we don't have yet but that's in the ground, figuring out logistics for the FSA loan I'm hoping to take out this fall... the list is endless, but at least I'm approaching it with a bit more energy!
Specific ask: does anyone have a connection to the executive team or advisory board for Atlanta Habitat? I'd like to purchase a property on their sales list that's adjacent to the current farm, and the lawyer in charge of their property sales isn't particularly responsive. I think our current ratio of emails is 4:1 me to him. I'd like to put veggies on this parcel over the winter, which means I need to start clearing and prepping it as soon as possible. I'm guessing it's a matter of this little flood plain parcel not being worth enough to spend time on for them, so I'm hoping I know someone who can get the ball rolling.
