A huge thank you to everyone who reached out with contacts to Atlanta Habitat for Humanity! Apparently my message reached the COO, Director of Housing (multiple times), and was sent to Habitat International and forwarded back to Atlanta! Didn't quite mean to start a five alarm fire... But, we have a very productive conversation happening. Keep your fingers crossed for me - with any luck we'll be starting the process of clearing enough beds to produce through the winter within the next week or two.
In other news, our greenhouse plastic is up! No endwalls yet, but it's summer time. Having a covered space lets us restart microgreen production, as well as have more even production of transplants. Depending on the weather tomorrow, I'll be seeding out the first round of microgreens. My weather apps are split between rain and thunderstorms - we can work through the former, but not the latter.
