This email will contain a lot of info about the new CSA software, so please save it to reference later if you plan to join for Winter or the 2024 season. We will be taking winter share sign ups on our brand-new platform, Local Food Marketplace (LFM) from now until December 1. HARVIE will switch to LFM beginning with the 23-24 Winter Shares. We may close sign ups earlier if we reach capacity.
Winter Produce Share 23-24

10 distributions, $40/distribution

Customer info (name, email address, phone number) was imported from Harvie to LFM. The imports DO NOT include passwords or payment information. Your email will already be in the system due to the import, so you'll need to request a password reset email (also see link at bottom of page). Once you create a password you'll be all set up!
You'll need to re-enter payment information when you checkout. The system will require you to enter a credit card to complete the order, but you will still have the option to pay with cash or check if you'd like.
As with Harvie, shares will be fully customizable. You'll be able to swap items in and out of your box prior to pick up, and you'll be able to see the exact value of each item that is in your box. You also will not be charged for anything you do not receive. For example, if the value of the items in your box totals $39.00 instead of $40.00, you will be charged $39. (If you pay in full or choose the payment plan, this will be reconciled with either of those options.) Paying in full at sign up, a 2-payment plan, and pay-by-order are all options on the site.
LFM has similar features to Harvie, such as:
You will be able to change pick up locations or put your share on hold ONE WEEK+ prior to your scheduled pick up date. Your box will always be customizable. You'll receive a weekly farm note with the farm happenings and the context of your box, letting you know it is time to customize!
HOWEVER, it is much more sophisticated in Harvie, allowing us to sell products at different price levels, to different customer types, take week-to-week one-time orders (this is HUGE), and sell products by weight!!! As we are able to consolidate our ordering and CSA platforms (and save money), we will streamline our ability to better serve all of our customers.
We're offering a free small Thanksgiving Provisions Box (see details on the subscriptions page!) for anyone who joins for the Winter and chooses to pay in full at sign up OR the 2-payment plan option.
LOCAL FOOD MARKETPLACE LOGIN FOR PREVIOUS MEMBERS - you had a share in Harvie, so your email is in the system. Now you just need a password!
