The first month of the year is already over!! I think we are all settling in to the new system ...it is confusing keeping the weeks separate...Reminder...you need to see the email that says " your share is on it's way".. That is your clue that your veggies will be arriving....THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO HAD THEIR COOLERS WAITING>>>>IT SURE HELPS TO KEEP YOUR FOOD SAFE>
This week we have a new listing of spices from Lil' Helpers. Lots of goodies to spice up those comfort foods we are all craving at this chilly time of the year when winter seems to be lasting too long! The "anything seasoning" is exactly that....it adds an extra touch to so many different foods. And the Cinnamon is so full of flavor...I know you will enjoy it!
Raspberries are on the list for this week...a perfect addition to your morning smoothie ( or waffles, or pancakes....)
Mandarins are also available for this week....they do have a bit farther journey...they are coming from California. We generally try to stay closer to home...but figured you would enjoy a tasty mandarin for a change. Winter is a hard season to work with....it being mostly storage crops...but there is another treat coming next week....fresh microgreens from Hannah's Harvest! (More on that next week...)
