Fall has officially arrived (or was that winter??) It's so cold out there that the gardens are all basically done for the season. And so we will quickly be moving into fall crops for the last few weeks of the summer season.

Brrrrr. They say it's only Fall...but it sure feels like winter!!
The good news is that they pivot is all up!! Not quite ready to go yet (Lots of wiring to finish first). But it sure has changed the view from our house! It looks pretty awesome.

20 years. a wife..and 9 kiddos later
It was a little over 20 years ago that Farmer Tim bought the land we now call home. That summer he got right down to business and laid the mainline that would supply water for irrigation for many, many hours of pipe moving over the years. His dad was there to help at that time...

Frost in August!!
Frost hit on August 28th this year...it wasn't a really hard frost but it was enough to shut down the squash plants and the beans. The corn and strawberries are still ok....though the strawberries are really starting to slow down now with the cool nights.
