We have come to love celery root and substitute them when a recipe calls for celery because the FLAVOR IS BETTER.
The mild celery root has so many uses:
* Mash with potatoes or by itself
* Roast in the oven
* Great In Soups
* Makes awesome Fries
* Incredible as Fritters 
One thing we love about what we do is the FARMING COMMUNITY. Farmers are always helping each other out when in need!
If a livestock problem occurs, another farmer is only a phone call away to help. Can you believe that we helped birth twin goats at a neighboring farm just LAST WEEK while the owner was in Toledo!!
If a farmer has a shortage of crops, another farmer steps in to help keep their farm running smoothly. THIS WEEK we made a connection with a CSA farmer who wanted to purchase potatoes, so off went our truck to help them feed their CSA members.

We’ll be happy to put your weekly veggie box on hold when you drop us a note. Tell us your preference. Tell us to DONATE your share. Have a friend pick up your share. Tell us you want to PICK up your CSA on a different day & location.
