Dear members- Please read- This is a logistical update!
1st, many of you over the course of the season (and especially last week) have missed items in your box. When extras or doubles are ordered, our error rate goes up. These sort of lapses in our packing consisting are not ok. I will try to get you your items or offer you additional credit. Please let us know if this happens and what you are missing. Only through your feedback can we improve.
2nd- A member passed on the tip that the weekend is not the most convenient time to do box customization. We want you to have the opportunity to select the produce you want. Starting next week, I will try to open the shares for the following Tuesday on Thursday afternoon/evening, rather than mid-day Friday.
3rd- Members who have not set preferences and do not customize seem to miss out on a lot of good offerings. Please take these steps within Harvie to receive the best we have to offer.
4th- You are all invited to a work party here at the farm on Monday, September 2nd, 9-12, for our annual potato dig party. Come help us get the spuds out of the ground and into the root cellar. All ages, all abilities welcome.
5th- We still have a few shares available for our fall season, starting in September. If you refer a friend, you can receive $25 in additional credit through your Harvie account. Let me know if you have further questions.
