We finally got some good snow! Here at the farm, we had a total of about 12.5 inches of fresh powder, and we're happy. It was starting to feel strange without much of a white Christmas.

As farmers, we are kind of obsessed about the weather, and Wednesday this week was one for the books. A new record high was set for both Ashland (55 degrees!) and Duluth (49 degrees, from way back in 1877!)

About the farm
The Bayfield Regional Food Producers Cooperative (Bayfield Foods) was formed in June of 2010 by farmers and food producers in the Chequamegon Bay region of northern Wisconsin. Our mission is to provide customers with high quality, nutritious, and sustainably-grown foods produced in Ashland and Bayfield Counties in Wisconsin.
