The kabocha squash in this photo are pretty cute, but the image I wish I could share with you is of the thousands of starlings swirling in a dynamic funnel shaped flock outside my window over the Pepperbridge vineyard. All the birds and the gold and red colors of the foliage and the grey clouds of the incoming rain all form a perfect collage of fall. Fall is well represented in your box this week with the roots and squash. A new addition this week is the option of certified organic apples and pears brought in from the Okanagon Fruit producers. Teas this week are an Oolong Jasmine and Coconut Vanilla Rooibos. Enjoy!
