Happy October everyone-
These are my favorite days of the year in both field and kitchen. I love the refresh on the salad and cooking greens. I'm still feasting on the last season abundance of tomatoes and peppers. And the fall brassicas are starting to mature and sweeten. This week there are 7 different brassicas for your eating pleasure- broccoli, cauliflower, red cabbage, green cabbage, radish, turnip, and kale. yum.
In this box we are also offering big bulbs of fennel grown by Hayshaker and the first of many winter squash offerings in the form of small pumpkins.
