Super nice to get that rain- the perennials on all our edge spaces are very happy for a drink. Less happy are some of our summer crops. We are saying goodby to tomatoes and melons and taking them off of our box options. But we are happy to say hello! to potatoes and winter squash. Other goodbyes of the week are to employees Keeli and Lora. Send them good wishes in their upcoming artistic and poetic endeavors. Often I see artists drawn to farming, to the daily practice of physical creation in an agricultural setting. This two are uncommonly good examples of integrating labor and art in life. Hopefully both with return to Welcome Table in the 2024 season.
If you have waxed boxes hiding out in your house or garage, please return to your pickup location and keep them in circulation.
