Happy almost Thanksgiving!
Next week, to give the cooks a bit more prep time, I'll deliver boxes on Tuesday. They'll sit easily if you don't fetch them until Wednesday.
Sometimes the fogs of November seem to disguise all the connection and vitality of the season. This week's photo is a thank you note from the 3rd graders who planted out the squash we're eating now. What a great reminder!
While the selection of fresh harvested greens is diminishing, our stores of roots and squash and spuds are still ample for all your late fall soups and stews and roasts. May your kitchens be warm, travels safe, and tables full.
