Welcome to the latest fall CSA boxes we've ever delivered. These three boxes that follow the Thanksgiving week are a new experiment for Welcome Table. We hope that you will enjoy our continued offerings of local food as the world grows more wintery. We know that the offerings are less varied, but we hope you, like us, are grateful for any food still coming from local fields and farm storage, rather than the distant lands of the grocery store produce section. The forecast is calling for pretty low temperatures at the start of next week, so i'm being conservative with the fresh greens harvest list. Hope to bring them back for early December.
Over the summer we sold our abundance into the Food Hub operated by Hayshaker Farm. Now we are reversing the flow and buying in a few more items from them for our fall boxes. This week look for Hakuri salad turnips and a diakon radish mix. Enjoy!
