We are getting all the weather this week! But between the snow and showers I'll be able to get out and harvest lovely fresh greens- lettuce mix, spinach, kale and arugula. The sun came out today! Hallelujah! I am way thankful. It was a long frozen spell. Today's thaw made it possible to wash some bins and potatoes for next week and harvest a few salad greens for our own holiday meals. Yesterday began the planting season for 2023- garlic, favas, and daffodils all got planted just in the nick of pre-rainstorm time.
Today I harvested extra salad turnips and greens in preparation for the temperature to drop.

Farm Happenings for November 1, 2022
This was a gift of a week on the farm. The soaking rain over the weekend germinated covercrop and watered in the transplants for our early spring flowers.
