This is Rita with a beautiful batch of beets. This year, beets are really the first crop that we’ve had in bulk quantities to offer for canning purposes. So, if you’d like to try your hand at pickled or canned beets, now is a great time to grab a 10lb. bag. We do plan to have bulk roots also available in the Fall, as well as pickling cucumbers and tomatoes, so if you’d like to be on our list for any bulk products, let us know and we’ll call you when we have them available! It's time to customize your share (or grab a Farm Stand box), we're inching up our estimates for cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and even a few slicers this week, but we're still farm from max production, so expect to see more and more of those soon! We have some great items from other local producers this week, including:
- Bread and Bagels from The Gracious Table
- Farm Fresh Eggs from the Miller Farm
- Fresh Pressed Apple Cider AND Apple Butter, from Farm to Market Store, both of these products are made right here in Libby!
- Locally Raised bacon, breakfast sausage, hot Italian sausage, and NEW this week pork chops from Double N Farms
- We also have bulk 10# bags of beets from our own farm if you'd like to make up a batch of canned or pickled beets
