Gadzukes, it's true! As predicted, the summer squash did start producing this week. So we will have some delectable first zukes at the market tomorrow, and will definitely have some available to go into boxes next week. We'll start off a little bit slow with our harvest estimates, but if we've learned one thing about summer squash over the years it's that they don't take long to be super productive. So in the next few weeks there should be an increase in summer squash availability in your boxes and for swaps just be patient!
Looking forward to a nice day tomorrow for pick up, and it's a special themed market as well -- Stars & Stripes. There will be decorated booths, music, activities, and possibly vendor specials. Plan ahead to extend your pick up and stay awhile to enjoy the market. See you at pick up =)
