Hi All - This one has got to be the cutest photo from our CSA member appreciation event last Friday. Way to go to the Morgan kids for picking out fantastic pumpkins, we hope they turn out great carved up (if that is indeed your intention!). We had a great time seeing so many members out at the farm in a slower paced environment that at the market. Many folks took the self-guided tour and came up with some excellent questions for our whole crew. We figure that about 85 people were on the farm last Friday afternoon, and that is most certainly a record! It was a beautiful day, and we had just the right amount of complimentary bouquets made up, so we consider it a resounding success. A big thank you to everyone who was able to make it out. And another big thank you to each and every one of you for being CSA members this year. We appreciate your support!
We look forward to seeing you all at pick up this week, and if you missed your pumpkin picking opportunity, we plan to bring all remaining pumpkins to the Kootenai Harvest Festival on Saturday, 12-6! There will be music, vendors, lots of sunflowers, kids activities, dancing, general good cheer and an epic Harvest Meal made with locally sourced ingredients.
