Wow! What a productive week! The tomatoes were trellised, the carrots were harvested, the onions and garlic harvest started, the potatoes were weeded, lettuce was harvested, and in the midst of all of it, we still packed and delivered 200+ veggie shares… I get the privilege of working with an amazing group of folks, and they all soldiered on through the heat, and smiled through their sweat.
I tell you this because I want you to know that when you eat well from Millsap Farm, you are supporting a hard working, cheerful crew of farmers who take pride in their work, and find the joy in every day, even when the heat index is 100+. So thanks for the privilege of being your farmer, and for giving me the opportunity to lead such a great team as we grow great food, community, and care for the earth.
