Greetings from the farm.
This week, as the nights cooled, and days shortened, I was reminded of how much of a privilege it is to work with my family. My children and wife are remarkable people, who are hard working, quick learning, and fun to be around. It's easy, in the heat of summer, or during a rush of tasks, to forget what a blessing it is to be surrounded by such a great group of people, but this week I spent extra time working alongside them, and was reminded of how special it is to work with loved ones.
Meanwhile, you should have received an email about the extended fall share coming up. We've got big plans for the fall share, with lots of sweet potatoes, beets, lettuce, spinach, and other fall treats heading your way. Be sure to unselect "auto-renew" on your member profile if you would rather not continue with the vegetable bounty to Christmas, but otherwise your membership will be renewed to the same kind, size, and frequency of share that you currently have, on the 24th of September.
Thanks,
Curtis
