We had a hard freeze this Tuesday night, 19 degrees! This effectively ended the tomato season, and severely reduced the pepper supply. However, it looks like the broccoli, cabbage, chard, head lettuce, and lots of other cool weather crops made it through with minimal damage, due to our protective covers.
We are grateful, and are looking forward to a bountiful fall supply of greens, squash, sweet potatoes, and other treats from other farms like apples, cider, and sauerkraut.
Meanwhile, we are still needing those amazon mailers and other bubble wrap mailers, which we use to package your meat for delivery, and please be sure to put your delivery containers out for return if you are a home delivery member.
Thanks,
Curtis
