This week we are continuing with the Farm Stand and have pushed the normal Summer seasonal shares back a week. There is plenty to share this week, so we hope you get to enjoy a box for your local organic fixings and offering from our partner farms as well.
The pineapples are coming along nicely, cherry tomatoes are filling out, and delicious Caribbean seasoning peppers (both local and "Dominican" breeds) are popping heavily. Our arugula is full size now and we also area featuring kale, collards, and kohlrabi from Rodgers Farm (not organic but well done). More eggs are available than usual since many normal outlets have shut down for our egg producer Cox Farm, so thanks for supporting their continued production. There's a lot more to enjoy in the inventory this week including herbs, papaya, wax apples and more, so please enjoy all the locally produced food and thanks for supporting local:)
Please stop by the Little La Grange Farm Tienda and try out our farm herb bread loaves and half loaves. There will also be ready-to-heat meals from Misfit Island Munchies like tamales and Cubano eggrolls. In addition, there will be many extra crops for sale a-la-carte. We thank our visitors for following the social distancing and face-covering guidelines. You all were awesome last week.
