Happy Tuesday and welcome to the second week of the CSA! We've been putting a lot in the ground these past two weeks, both for the end of the current CSA season and preparing for our next season in January. Pictured above, farm dog Bosco is admiring the hard work put into one of our latest plots. We have lots of greens such as turnips, radish, mustard greens and some carrots coming up in the plot which will be featured this week and in the weeks to come. We love us some greens, especially of the spicy variety, and if this is your thing as well make sure to add mustard greens to your box this week. They are just starting to come in so they're nice and tender with a bit of spice, a perfect addition for your salad mix.
We hope everyone has been enjoying our value added items, whether you ordered any during our pop up market, at tienda or this past week. We always value your feedback so if there is anything you'd like to see value-added wise in the shares or if you have any feedback on what we're currently putting out, please reach out. We're having fun experimenting with different ingredients in the kitchen and making the most of what we're growing. Eliminating food waste and using produce in creative ways is kind of what we're about so we appreciate all of your support in this endeavor!
We hope everyone has a fantastic week and we look forward to seeing you this weekend whether that be at Tienda, Leatherback or out and about.
