Happy last week of CSA!
We have had so much fun this season growing and playing in the dirt :) We want to express our gratitude, because we couldn't do it without you all! Our passion is growing food and without our amazing CSA members we couldn't pull it off.
We have some exciting items this week...tons of avocado, mango, genip, okra and.....turmeric! We are doing a bulk harvest on our turmeric crop which we will be offering in 1/2 lb bags.
As our season comes to a close we are saying goodbye to a few crew members as well. Our apprentice Marin will be returning to the States briefly before she heads over to Zambia where she will be serving in the Peace Corps. We know she'll do great as she will bring her strong work ethic and incredible energy with her. We also welcome Jesse our new production manager as Andy and Elizabeth will be moving on to pursue other adventures on island. Jesse has been farming in the Southeast and is bringing lots of passion and experience to the farm. We can't wait to watch him crush it.
Once again, thank you all for being a part of our summer CSA season, we look forward to seeing you guys next year :)
