Hello Everyone!
This week we welcomed a new apprentice to the farm, Jessica! Jessica is joining us from Kentucky by way of Purto Rico. Jessica received a degree in agriculture and has worked on several farms from Massachusetts to Italy to most recently Purto Rico. We are so excited to have Jessica out here working with us for the next six months!
Our fields are looking good these days as we add more mulch and cardboard to the rows, acting as both weed suppression and more carbon being added to the soil. Lots of cherry tomatoes are popping up in all this sunny/wet weather we've been having, we are running out of ways to eat them. Maybe some tomato jam-making is in our future...
