We started harvesting a new bed of carrots this week, and they are our first outside carrots of the season, so should be exceptionally sweet and tasty. Also lots of gorgeous lettuce, bright red radishes, and other salad ingredients. Also, we have huge, tasty bundles of kale; our favorite kale recipe is Zuppa Tuscano, which uses italian sausage, potatoes, and kale to make a really tasty soup, much like the house soup at Olive Garden. Here's a quick recipe and video for the soup; https://natashaskitchen.com/zuppa-toscana-recipe-video/
Hope you are enjoying the bountiful blooms and the spring showers as much as we are. I'm heading back out to get more potatoes planted; we're a little behind due to all the wet weather, and I'm trying to get as much done while we have these little dry spells between the rain!
As always, thanks for trusting us to be your farmers.
Thanks,
Curtis
