We seem to finally be settling into some warmer weather; this is the coolest April I can remember, so we are grateful for the change. Things are quite a bit behind from seasons past, but they will catch up quickly when we start to have some warm stable temperatures. Meanwhile, the cool weather crops continue to shine, with lots of lettuce, spinach, kale, and other spring treats.
The new addition this week is beef; we have beef by the cut on our list this week, from our Amish friends Emanuel and Lydia Schwartz. This is some really high quality beef, and I think you'll be very pleased with the flavor and texture if you give it a try. Get your orders in by Thursday evening.
