What a fabulous week; this is a great change from last September, when it was 90 degrees all through the month. We've been thoroughly enjoying the brisk mornings and warm afternoons. I hope this CSA season has been a good one for you; we have about 6 weeks left in the main season, and the vegetables are still abundant, although the warm weather crops are certainly faltering. This week you'll see more apples, winter squash, and other fall staples.
Meanwhile, we're getting lots of fall and winter crops planted in the greenhouses, from Napa Cabbages to Parsley, Spinach to Salad Turnips. We are preparing for an abundant fall season, full of greens, sweet potatoes, beets and carrots.
Thanks for trusting us to be your farmers.
