Sweet potatoes are getting dug tomorrow (Saturday). Feel free to swing by for an hour or two tomorrow morning, if you have time, and lend a hand.
In other news, the fall continues to be mild and glorious; we are excited about all the carrots, beets, turnips, sweet potatoes, lettuce, spinach, kale, and other goodies we're going to be harvesting in the coming weeks, and so have added an extended season to our CSA in the four weeks of November. If you have autorenew selected in your profile, you'll get an email about that soon, if you don't have autorenew selected, you can go to this link and signup for the extended season: https://www.harvie.farm/farm/millsap-farms/
Finally, I hope you're having a great fall, and remember that as you begin raking your leaves, we are excited to have them; we take leaves, grass clippings, and twigs for our compost piles. We accept drop-offs dawn-til-dusk, and ask that you only leave your yard waste, and take your bags back home with you.
Thank you for all the ways you're helping transition agriculture toward a sustainable, resilient model.
