Anyone catch any of that rain today? It was awesome. Dry season can be rough on new plants but we took full advantage of the rain showers today to get a bunch of new crops in the ground. Pictured above is some of the Italian Basil and Celery we planted recently. Today we were feeling ambitious and planted Rainbow Chard, Thyme, Onions and Zucchini!
This is the last week of this season's CSA but there's a lot to look forward to next season, which we expect to start after a short pause. We've been getting pretty excited about edible flowers recently; this week we will have an edible flower option in the shares that consists of gliricidia, nasturtium, and moringa, so keep an eye out for that when customizing your boxes. We also have bush tea bundles available with bay leaves, soursop leaves, lemongrass and hibiscus.
Feel free to come see us at our Farm Tienda at Little LaGrange on Saturday from 11-3 to see what else we have available and stock up on Misfit Island Munchies.
