This weekend we took our interns to Sonlit Meadows Farm in Collinwood, TN. We have known the Chiljian family for many years and watched their journey into market gardening. We had a wonderful weekend of fellowship, worship and education. They are creative, resourceful and know how to make something from nothing. It was nice to see the progress and growth from last year to this.
It certainly feels like summer is here in full strength. The heat loving crops, like okra, peppers and eggplants, are loving it! The farmers on the other hand are moving slower and drinking more water. Life is great even on the hot days!
