Dear CSA family,
It is unbelievable that we are down to the last 3 weeks of the summer CSA!!! This feels like one of the fastest summers on record. We have had a great group of interns, and the international flair has been so much fun. They have grown, we have grown and we are all better of because we spent this summer learning and growing. A couple will be staying on through October and the end of the farmer's market season, but the others will be heading on at the end of this month. There have been highs and lows as is the case every growing season. It was an amazing strawberry crop but not so good on the peppers and cucumber fronts which has been disappointing. All in all things have done well. We have felt the blessings of God and are nearing the finish line of our best summer ever!
Note of business: For those who are new to our CSA there will be an automatic seamless roll over into the Fall/Winter season which begins the first week of September. I would encourage all who want to be in the Fall season to make sure the auto renew feature is turned on in your account. Watch for an email with the actual dates and details about the Fall/Winter season roll over.
