There are lots of surprises that happen on a farm. Here is one sweet one! This little hen, having escaped from the confines of the pen, the was laying her eggs in a secret hide out. Joshua has so many hens he hadn't noticed that one was missing (unlike the good shepherd :). One morning this proud Mama came sauntering out of the bushes with all these beautiful little chicks. It has been a fun surprise and we are all enjoying seeing them lined up and following their Mama!!
