Dear CSA family,
Thank you for another wonderful Spring/Summer season! Also, thanks to those of you who are just staying on for the Fall/Winter season!
This week we will say goodbye to 3 great interns (We are thankful to have one stay one for a couple of months, and our son Caleb who participated in the internship this Summer feels called to join us in our farming ministry - we praise the Lord for that!). It feels like our old teaching days. We are a bit worn out from the additional time we take to love, teach, feed, train and mentor them. There is also the feeling of joy and gratitude for the maturity, growth and character development we have seen as they have tackled difficult things and learned from the best classroom of all - the garden. There are always tears shed on "graduation" night as we review our 6 months of activities, from farm tours to classes, worships to church, campouts to rafting and much more. Goodbyes are hard, but we look forward to who the Lord will bring to us next year!
