What is happening on the farm? The family is growing!!! Growing plants, growing puppies and growing babies!! Our family is in the multiplying mode which is such a blessing! We welcomed our 3rd grandchild, Josie Anne Dysinger, on December 3. That was an exciting day since girls have been the exception not the norm in our family over the last 31 years since our daughter's birth. Now we are on a role and Joshua and Kelli announced that they too are having a little girl (Amber Elizabeth) who is due to arrive the end of September! We know how quickly the summer will pass and we can not wait to have our first farm grand baby! It is a great season of life and we are cherishing every moment we have with our family!
John & I had a wonderful "off" season - we are never off and the list of projects seems to get longer instead of shorter, but none the less it was a different pace not being involved in the harvesting and marketing of vegetables through the winter. We did quite a lot of traveling (most of which was related to teaching but we did also get out to WA to visit our son Zack) and the rest of the time was spent doing catch up on the farm. It is exciting to be starting back into another growing season and we look forward to seeing each one of you!
