Good morning CSA Family
We are on the road headed home from an enjoyable break spent with family and fellow farmers! When we left the farm the forecast was not calling for the weather that you all experienced, and it was a bit difficult to fully enjoy the Florida warmth as we watched the forecast at the farm plummet to temperatures lower then we have ever experienced! Those who were still back on the farm did all they could to prepare for the cold and they used every frost cover that they could find to giver the plants the best chance! Its times like this that farming humbles you. We did everything that we could but if we have produce to fill your boxes this week it will be a bountiful blessing from God because our efforts weren't enough to protect from the -8 temperatures that we experienced on the farm. We are very eager to get back to the farm to be able to asses the condition of all the produce, but at this point all I can do is give my best guess on what we might have available.
