Speaking of our fall CSA, we are all about preparation for the season ahead around here. We have nearly all of our red and yellow onions and shallots out of the ground now and in their curing location:
We are also transitioning our tunnels into winter mode. Here, we have pulled out some tomato and pepper plants to make way for chard and celery seedlings:
In the week ahead, we will replace the plastic cover on another one of our high tunnels so the faint winter light enters unhindered. It'll be a busy week!
