Welcome to Week 6!
We are happy to announce that all of our tomatoes are available this week: cherries, heirlooms and beefsteaks. The varieties of heirloom-types are as follows:
Harvest Moon (yellow/red)
Mai Tai (yellow/orange)
Abigail (pink)
Damsel (pink - Katherine's personal favorite)
Cuba Libre (purple)
Marnero (purple)
We choose our varieties based on flavor, color, plant habit, seed availability and customer feedback. We hope you enjoy them and let us know your preferences!
In other news, Rachel (on left; Nicole is on the right) is back! She is with us on harvest days again and we are thrilled.
We dry extra calendula flowers for use in tea, medicine and hair care.
During a cold start to the week, June and Ezra found kohlrabi and garlic scapes to munch on!
